Cooking Frozen Burger Patties On The Stove
Using a frying pan on the stove is the best way for a fast cooking time and flavorful burgers at the same time.
- Take Red Robin frozen burger patties and separate them if they’re stuck together. Use a butter knife and peel off any patty paper that is between the patties.
- Place a frying pan or cast-iron skillet on the stove over medium-high heat. Add a little bit of oil to the pan.
- When the pan is hot, add the frozen patties. No need to add seasoning as the patties are already seasoned. I don't recommend thawing the patties.
- After 5-7 min of cooking — when you see clear juices come out of the top of the patty it’s time to flip to other side and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Avoid pressing the burger down — you don't want to squeeze out all the juice.
- When there is about a minute left to cook, add a slice of cheese and cover the pan with aluminum foil. Covering it helps to perfectly melt your cheese!
- Frying buns and adding condiments…
- Let the burgers rest on a plate for a few minutes and enjoy.
